On a chilly autumn day

I cannot endure to waste anything as precious as autumn sunshine by staying in the house. So I spend almost all the daylight hours in the open air.
-- Nathaniel Hawthorne (1804 - 1864)

I love watching the leaves change through their hues as the cold winter days approach. I still collect a few aspen leaves to remind me of some things that make me smile.
